Rapid Response Support
Acting Quickly To Help You Recover
Workforce Board Lehigh Valley’s Rapid Response support helps Lehigh Valley employers and employees alike in the case of a mass layoff, plant closure, or natural disaster.
Rapid Response provides early intervention support through Workforce Board Lehigh Valley and PA CareerLink® Lehigh Valley to transition workers into reemployment. Our primary objective is to provide the resources and services to get Lehigh Valley workers trained for new jobs so they can get back to work, quickly.
Are you an employer looking for support?
Rapid Response steps in to help the employer regardless of the reason for the layoff, with no charge to you.
Triggered by the notice of a planned closure or layoff through written notice to the Department of Labor and Industry, or through media or local contacts, the Workforce Board Lehigh Valley Rapid Response team is ready to step in and get to work!
Additional programs are designed to help businesses that may be at risk of closing to keep their doors open or help reduce the size of a layoff.
